Happy birthday Dieta Mediterranea!

Official 2022 poster illustration to celebrate the birth of Mediterranean Diet, a Unesco patrimony.

The inspiration comes from the territory of Acciaroli (Salerno, Campania). The Mediterranean Diet is strongly related with this land, its traditions, food, cultural patrimony and its architectures.
The aim was to design a “figure” but in the same time a puzzle of many pieces, made by distinctive elements coming from food, architectures and traditions of Acciaroli, Pioppi and Pollica (all the cities involved in the event).

I also wanted to have the texts and titles to gravitate around the illustration.
